Solar Operated Pig Electric Fence Kit - Plastic Posts - Max 250m
Our experience with electric fencing and pigs is that they are very respectful of it ... but they know when it is on and when it is off. So a well maintained electric fence is a great way to keep pigs contained... but it does need to be maintained.
Kit contents:
1 x Firedrake 67 solar energiser (complete with battery, solar panel, energiser and battery charger)
1 x ES1 1m T earth stake
6 x 1m black recycled plastic posts
3 x 250m 9 strand polywire
3 x gate handles
3 x gate anchors
6 x wooden posts
1 x 25 pack ring insulators
1 x 2 pack line to line connector
1 x electric fence tester
1 x warning sign
Kit Set Up
We have envisaged this three line kit to be run through plastic posts but to have wooden posts in the corners and at the gateway. The wooden posts give tension to the fence and create a solid gateway. The solar energiser will keep the fencing running during the lighter months but during the winter and darker months the battery may need a conventional charge from time to time. We have included a fence tester so you can test your fence safely and don't have to use your own/someone else's finger! The line to line connector connects the power between the three lines of electric fencing.
